Our Mission Statement: Connecting Montana and the World through global education and exchanges. The Montana Center for International Visitors, is an affiliate of the National Council for International Visitors (NCIV) based in
Washington, D.C. (see links). We are one of
95 community-based non profit centers throughout the United States that works in conjunction with the U.S. State Department's International Visitor
Leadership Program (IVLP). In Montana, we host approximately 100 international leaders through this program each year. The program participants are international leaders in the fields of environmental affairs, local government, media, education, human rights, law, E-commerce, management of non-profit organizations, livestock & wildlife management and foreign affairs. MCIV in collaboration with Friends of the Bozeman Public Library, also hosts "Great Decisions", a monthly foreign policy discussion group. This series is free and open to the public.
