Alumni Activities: Recently won the 2002 Texas Orchestra Directors' Association Composition Competition, with his Jamboree for String Orchestra. Holds a Master of Music in Composition from the University of Arizona, and has won several other composition awards
including: the 1995 Arizona Mini-Concerts Composer Award for Dichotomy for Cello and Piano, and a 1995 Montana Arts Council Commission for Concerto for Two Clarinets and String Orchestra. Currently an orchestra director and composition instructor at Orchard Park MS and HS in Buffalo, NY.

Alumni Activities: Comments: Attended classes 1973-74, and fall qtr 1974. Left due to
recurrence of cancer. Still living and doing fine. Did grad from Bemidji
State, Bemidji, MN. Wish I could have finished a MSU. It was the best
music school since I was in the Navy. To my old friends, HELLO! Some
of the best of times and memories were in the old quonset hut. I have
been a veterans service officer for the last 28 years here in Brainerd,
MN.
