A graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, Sherry has taught public school music in Fargo, North Dakota and Bozeman, Montana. She is active as a soloist, clinician and educator.
Sherry is Principal Horn of the Bozeman Symphony and performs with the Summer Symphony, the Intermountain Opera Association, Montana Theatreworks, and the Montana Ballet. Sherry teaches horn at the Flathead Lake Music Camp and is the founder of the Montana State University Horn Ensemble. She has performed with the Montana State University Orchestra, the Summer Symphony, the Billings Symphony, the Grand Forks Symphony and the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony. Sherry Linnerooth is employed by Eckroth Music and is Professor of Horn at Montana State University.
