Patrick Donnelly is currently pursuing his Ph.D in computer science at Montana State University. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the School of Music and the Department of Computer Science. He previously received a BS in computer science and an AB in music history and Italian from Washington University in St. Louis. He also holds an MSE in computer science from the Whiting School at Johns Hopkins, and an MM in musicology and an MM in computer music research and technology from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins. His research interests are primarily in machine learning in the musical domain. His dissertation research centers on multi-label classification of music instrument timbre from polyphonic audio. Patrick also sings with the Bozeman Symphony Choir and the Intermountain Opera chorus.
