Dr. Linda Antas is a composer, digital audio specialist, flutist, and educator. Her compositions have been performed and broadcast around the world and are published on the Centaur, EMS, Media Café, and TauKay labels. Her awards and honors include a Fulbright Fellowship, winner in the Città di Udine International Composers' Competition, Associate Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, commissions from the International Computer Music Association, the Rind Fund, and commissions for new works from internationally-renowned performers including Eric Mandat.
She has performed as a flutist at the National Flute Association Convention,
the Phonos Foundation’s “Instrumental-Electroacoustica VI Festival”, and the
Seattle Chamber Players’ Icebreaker Festival. Her work regularly involves
collaborations with a variety of visual artists, choreographers, and musicians.
She serves on the faculty at Montana State University and is Vice President
for Membership of the Society for Electroacoustic Music in the United States
