Specific Timetable for Completing the Work

The institution has written policies established in all sports to minimize student-athletes’ conflicts with class time and/or final examination periods due to participation intercollegiate athletics, consistent with the provisions of Constitution 3.2.4.1.

A review of processes indicates that generally the practice of scheduling is done with the goal of minimizing conflicts; however, these policies need to be codified into a written policy and procedures manual.

Appropriate bodies need to write policies, circulate policies to salient stakeholders for review -- such as head coaches, student-athletes and university faculty (Athletics Committee) -- and codify into a policy and procedures manual.
