Winners of the 2001 Employee Recognition Awards were announced at
a ceremony Thursday, April 19 at the SUB. The winners were: Jill
Allison, Department of Athletics; John Neuman, Center for Biofilm
Engineering; Brenda O'Connor, Museum of the Rockies; Nancy
Williams, MSU Libraries and Norman Williams, Physics.
Winners, who were selected from 52 nominees, received $500, a
14-karat gold pin and a plaque. All nominees received a letter of
recognition, a certificate and one of numerous prizes selected
from a drawing. This was the 12th anniversary for the program
that honors outstanding performance and contributors by
classified and professional employees. Nominations for these
awards were solicited from faculty, staff and students. The
selection committee consisted of the five winners from 2000.
