University officials anticipate that the game could attract record attendance.
Pre-game events will include a special presentation of a flag that will cover the entire field; a flyover of a U.S. Air Force aerial support fixed wing jet from Great Falls; recognition of senior football players; a video board presentation; and a performance of the national anthem by John McLellan of The Clintons.
In addition, new lights at the stadium will be turned on for the first time during the pre-game show for a senior spotlight. Senior players who will be recognized include Elvis Akpla, John Laidet, Jason Cunningham, CJ Palmer, Clay Bignell, Leo Davis, Casey Dennehy, Alex Terrien, Conrad Burbank and Shane Robison.
Fans also should be aware that public parking near the stadium will be extremely limited for the game, according to Kurt Blunck, manager of Parking Services at MSU. Options include parking at the Museum of the Rockies field on Kagy Boulevard and South 7th Avenue for $20; limited parking along South 7th Avenue between Kagy Boulevard and Grant Street; and free public parking in lots along Grant Street and South 7th Avenue. All parking lots between College and Grant streets are available for public parking free of charge on game day.
