The Werner Quartet will perform an evening of classical music at Montana State University's Reynolds Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20.

The performance will be the Werner Quartet's first in Bozeman since 2008. The quartet is based in Bozeman while not on tour, and has a long history of performing for the Guest Artist Series and the President's Fine Arts Series at MSU.

The MSU performance will be a dress rehearsal for the Werner Quartet's Carnegie Hall debut in March. It will feature Bach's "Chaconne," Boccherini's "Sonata in G major," and Igor Stravinsky's "Suite Italienne." It will also include folk pieces by Russian composer Reinhold Glière and two movements from Astor Piazzolla's "Four Seasons."

Tickets may be purchased at the door the evening of the concert. General admission is $10; $5 for students.

Reynolds Recital Hall is located in Howard Hall, home to the MSU School of Music, across the street from the MSU Duck Pond.
