Pianist Chelsey Padilla will perform in a graduate recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, in Montana State University's Reynolds Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public.

Padilla will perform pieces by Schubert, Ligeti, Chopin and Prokofiev.

Padilla, a Bozeman native who received a bachelor's degree in piano from MSU in 2009, is currently a graduate student at the University of Northern Colorado where she studies with Caleb Harris. She is active as both a performer and chamber musician throughout Northern Colorado and Montana as well as Brazil and Germany. She is the winner of the UNC 2011 Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition and has been awarded first prizes in the Music Teachers National Association Piano Competition, Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras Competition, and the MSU Concerto Competition.
Reynolds Recital Hall is located in Howard Hall, which is across the street from the MSU Duck Pond.
