The Montana State University College of Engineering's fall Engineering Design Fair will be held from noon to 6 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 8, in Strand Union Building Ballroom A. The public, especially students in grades K through 12, are invited to attend the fair. No admission will be charged.

Seniors from electrical, computer, chemical and biological, mechanical, mechanical engineering technology and industrial engineering will display posters and exhibit equipment demonstrating engineering design projects.

Projects include product prototypes, new technologies, unique solutions to challenging problems, multidisciplinary design projects and a wide variety of subjects within engineering.

As part of degree requirements, senior-level students are required to work on a group project that solves real-world engineering problems. Students in disciplines outside of engineering are sometimes involved, as are industrial partners including Neptune Aviation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department, AAON Inc., MSU's Center for Biofilm Engineering, the Boeing Company, Simms Fishing Products, Tektronix, Space Science and Engineering Lab, Bridger Bowl, Dynojet Research and Northwestern Energy.

For more information, contact the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at 994-2505.
