The meetings will provide information about courses, schedules, and costs for GCP, the region's comprehensive two-year college. GCP is offering four new programs this fall:
Three programs, leading to an associate degree in arts, an associate degree in science and a certificate of general studies are based on general education coursework and will prepare students for transfer into a four-year program upon completion. These general education courses will be offered predominately in the evening, and class sizes will be small.
The fourth program, in partnership with the MSU Extension Montana Weatherization Training Center, offers a certificate of applied science in residential building performance, or weatherization. The program will prepare students for jobs in the construction industry with training in energy efficiency and green building practices.
GCP also offers degrees in aviation, bookkeeping, design drafting, interior design, medical assistant, and welding.
