BOZEMAN - The host of Montana Ag Live, Hayden Ferguson, and Montana Ag Live founder and producer, Jack Riesselman, will be special guests at the Montana State University Extension booth at the Gallatin Valley Farmers' Market at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 28.

Montana Ag Live is a regular call-in program on agricultural and gardening topics in Montana. Presented by Montana PBS in association with MSU Extension, the program hosts panels of experts to discuss everything from pesticide use and large-scale agricultural techniques, to backyard gardening questions, and even which mushroom to pick in the woods.

Ferguson, Riesselman, and Extension horticulturist Toby Day will also provide fact sheets on various topics and free MontGuides, which are MSU Extension publications pertaining to yard and garden installation, plant selection, integrated pest management and other topics.

Gardeners are encouraged to bring plant and insect samples to the booth for diagnosis or identification.

The Gallatin County Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. through noon on Saturdays through Sept. 8.
