BOZEMAN - Montana State University Extension specialists will have a booth at the Gallatin Valley Farmers' Market at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds Saturday, Aug. 4, to help answer questions about soil fertility issues.

Clain Jones, MSU Extension soil fertility specialist, will host the booth on Aug. 4. He will assist with soil fertility questions and will also provide free MSU Extension factsheets and MontGuides on various issues.

"People are encouraged to bring soil fertility questions," said Toby Day, Extension horticulturist and Master Gardener coordinator. "The specialist in the booth this week offers a depth of knowledge for both gardeners and producers," Day said.

The Gallatin County Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. through noon on Saturdays through Sept. 8.
