BOZEMAN - The Montana Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Project, through MSU Extension, will hold a facilitator training for anyone interested in starting a Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support/Education Group in Montana.

The one-day training will be held Saturday, Sept. 25 in Bozeman at the Hilton Homewood Suites.

The Montana Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Project was formed by Montana State University Extension to respond to increasing need for service and support of grandparents and others giving primary care in raising relative children.

Participants from across Montana are welcome to attend. A registration fee of $100 will cover the cost of curriculum, other materials, and lunch. A local grant will support limited scholarships for individuals starting groups in Gallatin and Park Counties. Registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 14.

For registration information or questions, please contact Debbie Albin, MSU Extension Family & Human Development, at (406) 994-5099, e-mail deborah.albin@montana.edu or visit our website at http://www.montana.edu/wwwhd/grg.html.
