Carl Fox, who has been serving as interim dean of the MSU College of Education, Health, and Human Development, has accepted a graduate deanship at Western Kentucky University and will be leaving MSU in the spring. Before his appointment as interim dean in EHHD, Fox served as dean of the Graduate School.

In order to provide continuity in leadership in the Graduate School during this academic year and until a new dean is hired, Dr. Ron Larsen will continue to serve as interim dean in the Graduate School, according to MSU Provost Martha Potvin.

Fox will serve as Special Assistant to the Provost until he leaves for Western Kentucky, and Lynda Ransdell, who was named dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Development in October, will begin her duties at MSU on Jan. 1, 2013.
