The Montana State University Band and University Chorus will team up to present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in Reynolds Recital Hall.

The University Band, under the direction of Nathan Stark, will perform music about "Fireflies...or things that make fire fly" including the new composition "that features an amplified Slinky. Other works include music by Frank Ticheli and Steven Reineke.

The University Chorus, under the direction of Jon Harney, will perform selections by Brahms, a motet by the Spanish composer Victoria, a vocal poem by Z. Randall Stroope and a piece by Matthew Culloton.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and are available at the door.

Reynolds Recital Hall is located across the street from the MSU Duck Pond.
