A three-day lifeguard certification course will be offered at Montana State University in April.

Students will participate in activities both in and out of the pool. The course will also include American Red Cross CPR/First Aid for professional rescuer. Equipment will be provided.

Students must attend all three classes to receive certification. Classes will be held from 4:30-9 p.m. Friday, April 5; 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. Saturday, April 6; and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, April 7. In addition, a swim test must be completed on Wednesday, April 3, from 6-7 p.m.

Course participants do not need to be members of the MSU fitness center or enrolled as MSU students.
