Lynda Ransdell, dean of the Montana State University College of Education, Health and Human Development, will be inducted into the North American Society of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Sport and Dance class of 2013 at the society's national conference, set for Wednesday, April 24, in Charlotte, N.C.

Established in 1999, the society recognizes outstanding professionals from the allied professions of health education, physical education, recreation, sport and dance.

Ransdell began her duties as dean of the MSU College of Education, Health and Human Development in January. She previously was a faculty member in the Department of Kinesiology at Boise State University.
