BOZEMAN - Montana State University Extension specialists will have a booth at the Gallatin Valley Farmers' Market at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds Saturday, Aug. 10, to help answer questions about weeds, insects, diseases and other general yard and garden issues.

Linnea Skoglund, MSU Extension plant disease diagnostician from the MSU Schutter Diagnostic Lab, will host the booth on Aug. 10. She will assist with plant disease questions. She will also provide free MSU Extension factsheets and MontGuides on various issues concerning plant disease.

"People are encouraged to bring plant samples to the booth for diagnosis or identification," said Toby Day, Extension horticulturist and Master Gardener coordinator. "This is a free service provided by the Schutter Diagnostic lab and MSU Extension. Linnea is very knowledgeable and can help with plant issues of all kinds.”

The Gallatin County Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. through noon on Saturdays through Sept. 7.
