BOZEMAN – The Montana State University Department of Recreational Sports and Fitness will be holding an open-water scuba certification course, as well as a pair of lifeguard certification courses in coming weeks. The courses are open to the general population.

A one-day course offering an American Red Cross lifeguard re-certification will take place on Feb. 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at MSU’s Hosaeus Fitness Center. The cost is $70.

An open-water SCUBA certification course will be offered March 21-23 at Hosaeus Fitness Center. Cost for the course is $301. Participants should register by March 14.

Finally, a course offering American Red Cross lifeguard full certification will take place March 28-30 at Hosaeus. Cost for this course is $225. Participants should register by March 23.
