Noted fiddler Casey Driessen will conduct a free workshop at the Montana State University School of Music at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in Reynolds Recital Hall prior to his performance in Bozeman Saturday, March 1.

Driessen's MSU workshop will include a lecture and demonstration followed by a question-and-answer period.

Driessen will also conduct a clinic for the Bozeman High School Orchestra at 12:55 p.m. Friday and will appear live on KGLT-FM radio station at 2 p.m. Saturday.  He will perform at Bozeman's Peach Street Studios, 627 E. Peach Street, at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 1.

The Grammy-nominated Driessen was trained at the Berklee School of Music. He has toured with The Flecktones, Tim O'Brien, Darrell Scott and opened for the Zac Brown Band. His most recent album is "The Singularity."
