MSU Extension celebrates its centennial with tree planting

Montana State University Extension Master Gardeners and Montana 4-H'ers plant a walnut tree on the west lawn of Taylor Hall to celebrate the Extension centennial during a ceremony Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Bozeman. MSU President Waded Cruzado and Extension Director Jeff Bader spoke at the event about Extension's importance and history and Extension horticulture associate and Master Gardener Coordinator Toby Day gave a brief presentation on the proper technique for planting trees.
