Montana State University Library Dean Kenning Arlitsch has completed a leadership program for academic librarians.

Arlitsch was one of 16 librarians from across the nation selected to attend the prestigious UCLA Senior Fellows Program, a professional development program for senior-level academic librarians. The intensive three-week residential program offers a combination of management perspectives, strategic thinking and practical and theoretical approaches to the issues confronting academic institutions and their libraries. The program was held at UCLA in August.

Arlitsch has served as dean of the MSU Library since October 2012.
