Montana State University will celebrate its student veterans with an open house and special tribute to veterans on Saturday, Nov. 15.

The open house, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 11:30-1 p.m. in the university’s Veteran Support Center, located in room 185 of the Strand Union Building. The center opened in 2011 and is designed to support students whose education is funded by the GI Bill. The center provides student veterans a place to gather, as well as services to help them adjust to MSU.

Later that day, a special tribute to veterans will be given during halftime of the football game versus Idaho State. The game kicks off at 1:40 p.m. The event is also the university’s Veterans Appreciation Game. A limited number of free tickets for the game are available to veterans; veterans who are interested in attending may call the Bobcat Ticket office at 994-CATS to inquire about ticket availability.
