Montana State University and the Downtown Bozeman Association will host a pep rally at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, to help the MSU football team get ready for the annual Cat-Griz football game, set for Nov. 22 in Missoula. The pep rally is free and open to the public. It will be held downtown at the intersection of Main Street and Willson Avenue.
MSU football coach Rob Ash, members of the football team, the Spirit of the West Marching Band and MSU Spirit Squad players and others will be part of the event. Free hot dogs and refreshments will be provided. People attending the rally will have a chance to win raffle prizes, and Bobcat gear will be randomly distributed to those in the crowd. The event will also include announcements about the annual Can the Griz food drive.
In addition to MSU and the Downtown Bozeman Association, event sponsors include the MSU Alumni Foundation, ASMSU, MSU Athletics, Sigma Nu Fraternity, XL Country, Plonk, The Cannery & Burger Bob’s, Ted’s Montana Grill, The Bacchus Pub, The Leaf & Bean, Over the Tapas, Southern Wine and Spirits West, Chalet Sports and Prime Incorporated.
