BOZEMAN – Montana State University will cut the ribbon and open the doors on the newly renovated ballroom spaces in the Strand Union Building, beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 23.

Following the ceremonial ribbon cutting, President Waded Cruzado will offer some remarks. Butch Damberger, director of the Strand Union Building, said MSU students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the Bozeman community, are welcome to attend the event and the open house that follows.

From the lighting to the flooring and décor, to the audio-visual system and new banquet chairs, the space has been completely renovated and outfitted. The partition system has enlarged Ballroom A by 1,200 square feet. The adjacent meeting rooms and hallway have also been redone.

When fully open, the space will still accommodate an audience of 1,400 for events and 550 seated for a banquet.
