Montana State University and the MSU School of Art will present Green March Expo at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in the Strand Union Building room 233.

The multicultural event celebrates 40 years of postage stamps honoring Morocco’s historic Green March event of 1975, when 350,000 Moroccans and their allies walked peacefully together across the Sahara following decades of foreign occupation.

The MSU event will include the display of stamp artworks created by MSU graphic design senior Ghassane Moutaoukil along with historic photos from the 1975 march.

The event will also include a general exhibition of stamp artwork, lectures by guest speakers and a reception of traditional Moroccan food following the presentations.
