BOZEMAN - Montana State University is inviting students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends to join with its two entries in the Big Sky Pride festival parade on Saturday, June 18, in Great Falls.
The parade will be held from 11 a.m. to noon. Staging begins at 9:30 a.m. on 8th Street and Central Avenue in Great Falls. Anyone interested in helping decorate a float before the event should arrive at 10 a.m. The route is an easy eight block stroll down Central Avenue, and anyone who would like to participate but not walk is welcome to ride in the MSU float. One float will be organized by MSU’s Office of Institutional Equity. MSU’s College of Nursing Great Falls campus will have either a float or a banner walk. MSU students designed the float and banners and will walk with both entries.
Anyone interested in joining MSU’s Office of Institutional Equity float can contact Jyl Shaffer, director of MSU’s Office of Institutional Equity, at (406) 994-5326 or firstname.lastname@example.org or show up before the start of the parade. Those interested in joining MSU’s College of Nursing presentation in the parade can contact professor Laurie Glover at email@example.com or (406) 788-3420.
