BOZEMAN – Montana State University Extension in Gallatin County will host a small acreage management course over eight weeks, beginning April 17.

Classes will take place from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Mondays, April 17 through June 5, at the Gallatin County Extension office, located at 903 N. Black Ave. in Bozeman.  

Topics will include developing property plans and goals; watershed health; pasture management; livestock basics; weed identification and management; water rights; estate planning; orchards and small fruits; windbreaks; reducing wildlife conflicts; and a field tour with date to be determined.

The course is $60 and is limited to 30 participants, with a minimum of 10.
