BOZEMAN – Parents of students considering Montana State University are invited to attend a meeting in Billings with Ilse-Mari Lee, dean of the MSU Honors College, to discuss the benefits of being an Honors College student.

The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, in the cafeteria of Billings West High School, located at 2201 St. John Ave. in Billings.

Lee will talk to students and parents about how to best transition to and approach the first year of college, how to engage in undergraduate research and how to set a path toward success. She will also discuss the academic benefits of enrolling in an honors college and provide examples of Montana students who have won Goldwater, Truman, Udall, Marshall, Fulbright and Rhodes scholarships.
