Jason Scott, a physics major from Butte, has been named the 2005 Outstanding Graduating Senior in Science for the College of Letters and Science at Montana State University. The Dean's Award for Academic Excellence is the college's highest student academic honor. A $500 check and certificate will be given to Scott during the Day of Student Recognition ceremony to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, in the SUB ballrooms. Scott graduated in December with a 3.88 grade point average.
