BOZEMAN -- Michael Brody was selected to serve on the board of examiners for the National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education. As a member of the board, he will visit schools and colleges across the nation and report back to the accrediting board on the quality of each institution's educational programs.

The North American Association of Environmental Education nominated Brody for the position. They also recently elected him to chair that association's research commission.

A former high school science teacher, Brody has taught science and environmental education at Montana State University since 1992.
