Research on everything from dinosaurs to volcanoes will be explained Saturday, April 22, at the first student-led colloquium in Montana State University's earth sciences department.

Thirty-five undergraduates and graduate students will present their findings in posters and oral presentations from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in rooms 103 and 108 of the EPS building. Michael Reidy of MSU's history department will give the keynote address at 4:30 p.m. David Lageson, head of the earth sciences department, will present awards and give the closing address at 4:30 p.m.

The public is welcome to attend any of the presentations. No admission will be charged. The colloquium is sponsored by Marathon Oil and Exxon.
