Skyline bus service schedule between Bozeman and Big Sky announced

Skyline, the new Big Sky Transportation District service, begins Dec. 1. This new service will provide year-round public transportation service in Big Sky and a link between Big Sky and Bozeman. The link will operate seven days per week.

The route from Bozeman to Big Sky will begin at MSU Strand Union Building and will stop at the Gallatin Valley Mall, the Valley Ice Garden in Four Corners, the Buffalo Station in Gallatin Gateway, the Meadow Village Center in Big Sky and the Mountain Village Center in Big Sky. Departure times from the SUB are 5 a.m., 7:45 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The reverse route from Big Sky to Bozeman makes the same stops. Departure times from the Mountain Village Center in Big Sky are 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 12:15 a.m.

The service will be free until Dec. 15. Beginning on Dec. 16, the fare will be $5 for a one-way ride, with a 10-ride pass (5 roundtrips) available for $30, and a monthly pass for unlimited rides will be available for $60.
