Bishop's discussion will focus on delivering customer service and effectively responding to customer demands. The lecture is appropriate for owners of businesses of all sizes.
Established in 1994 as an outreach program through MSU's College of Business, the Family Business Program offers education and information to Montana businesses that are owned and managed by families.
The program provides recognition to pioneering and successful family businesses through the Montana Family Business of the Year Awards Program, which allows small businesses to share ideas and concerns. The annual seminar and awards luncheon has reached more than 80 businesses and provided education and information to thousands of participants.
Bishop's Jan. 17 presentation is the second offering from the Family Business Program On the Road. The program was made possible in 2005, when State Farm Insurance Company recognized Bozeman resident Robert Jaedicke for his service on the company's board of directors with a gift to MSU's College of Business.
