Everyone is invited to come and meet local producers, sample Montana-made food items, and meet students, faculty and staff who are involved in creating a sustainable MSU campus. The event also includes the premiere of a new documentary by Jaime Jelenchick about MSU's Towne's Harvest Garden and, following the bazaar, a panel discussion about local food. Information about initiatives at MSU regarding sustainability and local food systems will also be available.
The event is co-sponsored by MSU's Friends of Local Foods and University Food Service. Since parking on campus is limited, event organizers encourage people attending the bazaar to use the Streamline Bus.
