A forum on MSU sustainability awareness and initiatives will be held Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m. in SUB Ballroom D. The forum will begin with a keynote address from Jim Evanoff, environmental protection specialist for Yellowstone National Park. A panel discussion will follow on the "Metrics of Sustainability." The panel will include Laura Ziemer from Trout Unlimited's Montana Water Project, Deb Crawford from MSU Food Services, Mary Stein from Towne's Harvest Garden, Jeff Davis from MSU Facilities and David Klem, an MSU resource conservation specialist.

The forum is one of many Gallatin Earth Celebration events. GEC is a week-long Earth Day celebration, April 18-25, focused on education, outreach, and service. For more information about GEC, visit http://www.montana.edu/gec.
