Approximately 65 positions are listed with the fair, according to Carina Beck, MSU Career Services director. Montana school districts are looking to fill positions in administration, art education, biology, chemistry, coaching, counseling, elementary education, English, family and consumer science, health and physical education, history, library, math, modern language, music, physics, science, social studies, special education and technology education, Beck said.
A current list of attendees includes representatives from schools in Ashland, Bozeman, Fairfield, Gardiner, Geyser, Glendive, Helena, Hinsdale, Hot Springs, Red Lodge, Ronan/Pablo, Sand Coulee, Shepherd, Stanford, Valier, Winnett, Wolf Point and more.
The fair was created eight years ago to help MSU teaching graduates find openings within the state. Last year, 71 percent of graduates from the MSU College of Education, Health and Human Development stayed in Montana, Beck said.
