The first Fall International Children's Celebration, which will offer a variety of free, interactive activities for children ages 3-12, will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 19, in Bozeman's Bogert Park.

International students at Montana State University, as well as local organizations, will set up stations offering children's activities from around the globe, including African drumming, calligraphy with the child's name written in other languages such as Chinese or Arabic, origami, Bollywood dance moves, international costume dress-up, story corners, mural painting, badminton, taekwondo, face painting, rickshaw rides, soccer tricks and more.

"This event offers a wonderful chance for the children of Bozeman to actively engage with MSU's international students. We hope that this fun morning will become an annual event," said Debra DeBode, of MSU's Office of International Programs.

The event is co-sponsored by the MSU Office of International Programs, the City of Bozeman and the Bozeman Children's Museum, or call DeBode at 994-7180.
