Dave Rogers, founder of Ransom Wear (, a non-profit, international humanitarian organization committed to fighting poverty, human trafficking, slavery and illiteracy, will speak at MSU at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 13,. in SUB Ballroom C. His talk is sponsored by MSU's Chi Alpha and the Women's Center. Rogers will talk about Ransom Wear, which helps funds projects to end the trafficking of girls and young women from Nepal who are sold as sex trade slaves to brothels in India. Rogers will to sell the handmade goods he has brought from Nepal made by the women who have been rescued and ransomed from brothels in India Monday, Oct. 12 and Tuesday, Oct. 13 from tables in the SUB.
