The 6th annual American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Montana State University is set for Friday, April 16, starting at 6 p.m. in Shroyer Gym.

Relay For Life is an event intended to celebrate the lives of those who have had cancer, remember those lost, and fight back against the disease. Individuals and teams will gather at Shroyer Gym with the goal of keeping at least one team member on the track at all times throughout the evening. Teams do most of their fundraising prior to the event, but some teams also hold creative fundraisers at the relay.

Event organizers say that the night is filled with food, fun entertainment, basketball, dodge ball and numerous other amusing activities to entertain students. Also taking place throughout the night is a luminaria ceremony and survivor ceremony.
