Music and poetry by women will be the focus of the Montana State University Department of Music's spring choral concert, "Vox Femina," which will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24, and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 25, in Reynolds Recital Hall.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students for the performances that will feature the MSU University Chorus, the MSU Chorale and the Montanans.

"Vox Femina" will feature music and poetry by Gwyneth Walker, Sarah Hopkins, Vittoria Aleotti and Madalena Casulana. The Chorale will perform "Past Life Melodies" by Australian composer Sarah Hopkins, which uses a concept called harmonic-overtone singing. The Montanans will perform settings of poems by Emily Dickinson and Christina Rossetti.

Tickets are available at the door, or in advance in the Department of Music office in Howard Hall.
