Gamalan Sekar Gunung, the Balinese gamelan orchestra in residence at MSU, will present its spring concert on Tuesday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. Admission is free.

The concert will include both traditional Balinese ensemble music as well as new pieces written especially for this group by Professor Alan Leech of the MSU Music Department and by local percussionist and composer Jeff Vick. Organizers say the performance will be very colorful, with the musicians dressed in traditional Balinese attire.

Reynolds Recital Hall is located on 11th Avenue across from the Duck Pond.
