First Year Initiative and the Division of Student Affairs will host the 2011 Catapalooza from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. August 24-26 on the Centennial Mall.

Catapalooza is a three- day festival that welcomes new and returning students to MSU. Catapalooza corresponds with the final summer orientation and move-in day. More than 2,000 first year students, returning students, and parents are expected to be at MSU preparing for the new school year.

Groups and businesses from campus and the community can register for a booth space Friday, April 15-Friday, August 12. There is no cost to participate or to attend Catapalooza. On-campus departments and clubs are provided a table and two chairs. Off-campus groups are asked to bring their own setup for their free 10' x 10' spot. Organizers say that this is an excellent way to showcase services, products and student organizations to MSU's newest Bobcats.
