A Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid course will be offered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 2-3 at Montana State University. The course is open to the public. Cost is $125 per person. The Saturday portion will be in room 120 of the Hoseaus Fitness Center. The Sunday portion will be at the MSU Outdoor Recreation Center on Lincoln Street. This course will provide a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate EMS response, such as wilderness and remote environments.

A current Adult CPR/AED certification is a prerequisite of the course. An Adult CPR/AED course will be offered 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 1. Call MSU Sports Recreation at 994-5000 to register.
