BOZEMAN -- A free public lecture about issues associated with the medical drug approval process will be given Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Montana State University.

Peter A. Lachenbruch, a professor of public health at Oregon State University, will speak at 4:10 p.m. in the Procrastinator Theater in the Strand Union Building. His lecture, titled "Issues Arising in the Medical Drug Approval Process: Some Problems and Solutions," is part of MSU's Mathematical Sciences Colloquium Series.

The lecture is sponsored by the Department of Mathematical Sciences, the dean of the College of Letters and Science, the Office of the Vice President for Research, Creativity and Technology Transfer, and the ASMSU Procrastinator Theater.
