K-12 teachers from all disciplines and grade levels are invited to Montana State University's second-annual Teacher Resource Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 13. The event takes place from 4-6 p.m. in the atrium of the Engineering/Physical Sciences Building, just east of the Strand Union.

Dozens of MSU departments and centers will share free resources for teachers, including lesson plans, DVDs and classroom resources as well as information about graduate programs and outreach events. Appetizers, drinks and giveaways will be available, and teachers can register for door prizes, including an online graduate-level science course from the National Teachers Enhancement Network.

Teachers can also attend free 15-minute presentations, including "Rethink Your Approach to Teaching with Simple Technologies" at 4:15 p.m. and "Quick and Easy Science Activities for the Classroom" at 5 p.m.
The event will also honor the 50th anniversary of astrobiology. The first 50 teachers to arrive will receive a free "NASA AstroPack."
