The MSU Women's Center will host a sack lunch seminar, "What You Need to Know About Breast Cancer," at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 27, in SUB 168.

At the seminar, Becky Franks, director of the Cancer Support community, will discuss ways to manage the emotional journey of a cancer diagnosis and various services available for patients in the community. Cindy Carter, physician assistant and breast care specialist for Advanced Medical Imaging, will discuss the latest technology available for breast cancer screening and provide guidelines for early detection.

The seminar is being held in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
