MontanaPBS presents "Christmas with Backburner - A Jazz Peace: Holiday Favorites from Montana" on December 25 at 10:45 p.m.

Hear Christmas music in a jazz style. Backburner, the Bozeman-based jazz quartet made up of Eric Funk, Alan Fauque, Eddie T. and Mike Gillan, performs favorite Christmas songs and carols from their album "12/25".

With four CDs to their credit, Backburner has been performing their own interpretations of jazz standards, Latin jazz and select pop and holiday tunes, as well as original compositions, in the region since 2001. This combo of seasoned musicians is adept at blending contemporary sounds with traditional styles.
